Is there anything our school needs in order for RíomhaireTech to operate?

A program is designed to teach each primary school class about computer technology. The program is designed to equip students with the necessary skills, which they can use in their schoolwork, in further education and in future employment.

What does RíomhaireTech do?

A qualified computer tutor visits your primary school and teaches the students “on site”, in a designated classroom or common area.

Each mainstream class of approximately 30 students are broken into two groups of 15 students per class. Each class lastper class 30-35 minutes. Dealing with groups of 15 students ensures that each student can realistically achieve their learning objecpetives in their class time.

How would a timetable be structured for our school?

If your school does not have computers for students to use Ríomhairetech will provide them for you. RíomhaireTech guarantees one laptop per student to ensure that every student has an equal opportunity to learn from.
